WELCOME!!! - FIRST POST

Welcome to my fitness blog! On here you will be seeing what I'm eating and what I do for my physical activity. This year I have made the commitment to be more active and eat healthier and I want to share my journey with you all.

Disclaimer: I'm not a fitness or a nutrition expert. I'm just a college student and I'm doing this blog as a way of holding myself accountable. However, I also want to motivate people in my life to follow along on this journey with me. Trust me, I'm a psychology student and I've extensively studied how motivation works. I'm sharing my workouts and pictures of my meals so you can see what I'm doing. This of course means that you can leave me feedback on what I can do better, but if you live a sedentary life like me, then maybe this can get you off your butt and onto an exercise mat.

Let me tell you it's not just about looks though. If I keep packing on the pounds every year like I have been, then I'll be at a higher risk for heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. No one likes those things and a lot of it has to do with what we eat and our lifestyle.

I'm inspired by the Tone It Up girls and Zuzka Light. They are beautiful women with incredible strength and love. They live healthy and happy lives in sunny California, of which I am very jealous. Most of my workouts will be coming from their sites. Seriously, their workouts are like drugs and their smiles are infectious.

Now onto the most humiliating part... the pictures and numbers. I've let myself eat and drink whatever and my body shows it! Not proud of it at all, but I'm grateful that I have a body that works.

Measurements (in inches)

Bust: 35
Chest: 31
Waist: 33
Hip: 39
Thigh: 22
Calves: 14.5

Weight: 139.4 lbs

:/ Well, gee whiz, where's my booty??!!!

Ah, there it is. Poor thing is not looking so good these days with all the sitting around I do. Also, the pink unicorn is just chilling. Expect to see more of its nonsense.

And finally, I shall leave you with some llamas in hats...
